View of the Moulin Rouge in Paris with its characteristic red mill, a building with Gothic architecture, and a horse-drawn carriage in the foreground. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Bouvier in Chantelle, dated July 18, 1917, with a Chantelle postmark. Two green 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the top right, canceled by a circular stamp from Montrouge.
