In the background, urban buildings and a large advertisement panel for 'CIRCULUESIN'. Reverse: handwritten text dated April 25, 1943, addressed to 'Miss Élise Petitjean' in Fauccambault, with a Paris postmark and a stamp 'A RETURNED ENVELOPE'.
