Description

Funerary marble statue of Mgr Affre at Notre-Dame in Paris, depicting a saintly bishop lying down holding a laurel branch, with an inscription at the top: « ETRE LE DERNIER VERSE! » and at the bottom: « LE BON PASTEUR DONNE SA VIE POUR SES AGNEAUX ». The bas-relief at the base of the tomb shows religious scenes. Reverse: postcard from the J.Hot. house, Paris, with space for correspondence and address.
