View of the Palace of Justice and the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, with an inscription indicating that the Sainte-Chapelle was built in 1245 on the order of Saint Louis to house the Crown of Thorns. The reverse side presents a handwritten letter dated August 10, 1931, addressed to 'Madame' in Paris, accompanied by a 40-centime postage stamp and an obliteration 'EXPOSITION COLONIALE PARIS 1931'.
