Description

Monumental clock of the Palais de Justice in Paris, dated 1293, sculpted by Germain Pilon and restored in 1910. The work is adorned with statues of Justice and a royal coat of arms, with a Latin inscription above the dial. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated October 15, 1942, addressed to a recipient in Paris, with cursive handwriting and a postal note.
