Description

View of the Palais-Royal in Paris, showing its classical facades, colonnades, and the lively courtyard with pedestrians and a horse-drawn carriage. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Paris, July 30, 1909, addressed to Mme Le Bourgue in Hennepin, with a heartfelt message. The French 30-centime postmark, canceled in Paris on August 12, 1908, is affixed at the top right.
