View of the Luxor Obelisk in Paris, on the Place de la Concorde, with a horse-drawn carriage in the background. Printed text indicates its height (22m83) and weight (250000 kg), presented in 1836 by Mehemet Ali to Louis Philippe. Reverse: correspondence addressed to M. Léa Imbuet, 4 Rue Saint-Célestin, Marseille, with a green 5c stamp and postmark 'PARIS 15 JUIN 1893'.
