View of Place de la République in Paris, centered on the Republic monument with a statue of Liberty at the top. At the bottom left, a handwritten inscription: 'You honor taking the petition Che Leoniz'. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Che Leoniz' and an address to Madame Charnot in Dijon, with a 5-centime postmark and a Parisian cancellation dated April 17, 1905.
