View of Place d'Éna in Paris, centered on an equestrian statue of a rider holding a sword, in front of Haussmann-style buildings. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Mademoiselle G. Coutants in Bourges, with a postmark from Montargis dated May 16, 1904. A blue 50-centime stamp is affixed at the top right.
