View of Place Vendôme in Paris with the Vendôme Column, erected in 1810 in honor of the French armies, surrounded by Haussmann-style buildings and a few vehicles and pedestrians. Back: handwritten correspondence dated Tuesday, December 3, 1933, addressed to 'My cousin', mentioning the sender's good health and an address to 'Pignose Robert'.
