View of Place Vendôme in Paris, with the Column of Vendôme in the center, surrounded by Haussmann-style buildings and horse-drawn carriages. Printed text on the front indicates the height (44 meters) and diameter (4 meters) of the column, as well as its erection date in 1810 in honor of the French armies. The reverse presents the typical address and correspondence areas of a postcard, with a partially visible cancellation and water stains.
