View of Place Vendôme in Paris with the Vendôme Column, a monument constructed from 1806 to 1810 in bronze, 43 meters high, made from 1,200 cannons captured from the Austrians at Austerlitz. Back: handwritten address to Madame Rosebrière in Vaudemontville, 1930 postmark, Paris 14-V-1930 postmark, and mention of 'Chèques Postaux'.
