Description

View of the Alexander III Bridge in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background and barges on the Seine. The front has a bilingual inscription in French and English indicating the laying of the first stone in 1886 by Tsar Nicholas and the completion in 1900 by architects Massra, Rosal, and Alby. The back presents a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Léon André in Marseille, with a postmark from Lyon (4th arrondissement) and partial cancellation.
