View of the Unknown Soldier monument in Paris, with the flame of remembrance and flower wreaths. The printed text in the center of the ground evokes the names of the countries. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 25, 1924, sent from Châlon-sur-Saône to Châlon-les-Bains, with a 1924 stamp and a cancellation from Châlon-sur-Saône.
