View of the Tour Saint-Jacques in Paris, described as a 'precious specimen of Gothic art' with an inscription detailing its construction from 1508 to 1522 by Nicolas Flamel and a statue of Pascal at ground level. The reverse features handwritten text dated July 1st, 1940, addressed to Madame Lian in Calvados, with an orange 80-centime postage stamp and a Paris postmark.
