View of the Palais de Trocadéro in Paris, built for the 1878 World's Fair, with its two 70-meter towers. Two equestrian statues frame the scene, and horse-drawn carriages are seen on the promenade. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mme G. Bourinnet in Neully-sur-Seine, with a red French Republic postmark and a Neully-sur-Seine postmark from October 17, 1897.
