View of the gardens of the Val-de-Grâce hospital in Paris, with its famous dome in the background, surrounded by bare trees. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1 December 1904, sent from Paris to Bordeaux, with two 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Pau (Gers).
