Luxurious interior of Henri d'Albret's bedroom in the Château de Pau, with a large wall tapestry, a suspended chandelier, an ornate fireplace and richly decorated armchairs. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Bagnie in Livarot, Calvados, with a postmark from Livarot dated 24-6-30, and a 5c green French Republic stamp cancelled.
