Black and white view of the Voorburgwal canal in Amsterdam, with a tourist boat in motion under a bridge, bordered by trees and buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1951, addressed to 'Chère Caba,' mentioning visits to the Mauritshuis and the Amsterdam City Museum, as well as a reference to Haarlem and its works by Rembrandt.
