Lively scene on the quay in Volendam with a fishmonger's stall selling 'Hollands Roem' and 'Geroekte Paling'. Three people interact near the stall, while a sailing boat is visible in the background. Reverse: handwritten address to Mrs. Mame Duchemin in Montreuil, dated May 23, 1965, with Dutch postal stamp and postmark 'BRITSE WEEK IN AMSTERDAM'.
