Caricature postcard showing a man in a suit pointing at a pelican in a cage, with English and French text: « Fancy a swallow like that wasted on a dam bird! » and « Quel gaspillage d'avoir donné un goulot pareil à un oiseau ! ». Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 1st December 1916, addressed to « Ma chère Augustine », with publisher « British Manufacture, W.C. », series « PELICAN », and instruction « STAMP HERE ».
