Description

Black and white view of the Lower Gate in Perouges, with a Latin commemorative inscription of the 1469 siege visible on the arch. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Blincher in Luçon, a cancellation mark from Perouges dated October 28, 1935, and a postmark from 1932–1934. A green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic is affixed at the top right of the front.
