Black and white view of a river bordered by houses and hedges, with reflections in the water. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'my dear little Annick' dated July 14, 1935, signed 'Amused at the beach.' The publisher 'ÉDITION & CIE' is printed at the bottom right.
