Bust portrait of Petrarch in profile, crowned with laurel, with printed text at the bottom: 'Italian poet born in Arresco in 1304. It was at the fountain of Vaucluse that he composed most of his poems in honor of the beautiful Laure. He died in 1374 in Arqua.' Reverse is blank, with correspondence lines and space for a stamp.
