Postcard showing the Cordouan lighthouse with a fishing boat at its base, in the surroundings of Royan. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Élaine Chateaubriand in Paris, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Royan dated November 3, 1911.
