Stone Maya statue, seated and wearing a helmet, in a tropical forest. Reverse: postcard sent July 27, 1977 from Villahermosa, with a 2.00 peso air mail stamp and postmark 'VILLAHERMOSA, TAC. 227'. Handwritten message mentioning the heat, the jungle, and the 1500-year-old Maya ruins addressed to Madame Amiraux in Bondy, France.
