Description

Postcard illustrating the legend of Almanzor, lord of Lawuergnac, whose tomb is said to be this rock by the sea at Piriac-sur-Mer. The printed text recounts that he left with Saint Louis to the East for the 8th Crusade, and that his wife Yseult, waiting for his return, was carried off by a storm. The reverse indicates the publisher G. Arnaud, publisher of the Cèse, Nantes, and the registered trademarks 'Editions Gaby'.
