Description

Historical view of Pithiviers in 1540, reproducing a painting from the municipal museum, showing the town with its ramparts, church, and castle. The reverse side has a handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Dagnes at the gendarmerie in Prado, Marseille, with a 5-centime French Republic postmark canceled in Pithiviers on September 10, 1909.
