Description

View of the main entrance to the Blossac gate in Poitiers, with an ornate wrought-iron portal bearing a coat of arms and two lampposts, framed by hedges and stone walls. Two men and a dog stand in front of the entrance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Léonie d'Alligny in Sande (Loire), with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Candé (Maine-et-Loire) dated 10-12-1901.
