Portrait of Polaire in the role of Claudine à Paris, sitting on a twisted-legged stool, wearing a dark dress with a large bow and a checkered skirt. Printed text at the bottom: « Phototypie Pierre Coltman — Paris » and « POLAIRE In « CLAUDINE À PARIS » by Willy ». Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Jean Lalle Béard in Antibes, with a green stamp and postal cancellation from DURBAN (32T) dated 1913.
