Description

Black and white view of the Loir at Pont-de-Braye, with visible locks and a house nestled in the dense forest in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 18, 1956, addressed to Paris, accompanied by a 12 franc postage stamp depicting the Pont Valentré (Calvados) and a postmark from Tours.
