Description

Black and white panoramic view of the citadel of Pont-Saint-Esprit, with the river along the edge and the rooftops of the houses below. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 3.10.1920, addressed to 'Dear Pal', describing a train journey from Lyon to Pont-Saint-Esprit, with a mention of aviation and infantry troops.
