Description

Night view of the castle of Pornic under a starry sky with a full moon, reflected in the calm water of a harbor where several sailboats are moored. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Martineau in Chauvigny, with a French 10-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Chalon-sur-Saône dated August 14, 1908.
