View of the Countess's Beach in Portrieux, with bathhouses lined along the shore and buildings on the heights. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated June 25, 1921, addressed to René, describing the landscape as magnificent and mentioning a morning walk and an afternoon excursion to the center of the stones. The postmark and cancellation are illegible.
