View of the Place de l'Obélisque in Chalon-sur-Saône, with the Post Office Hotel and central obelisk. Printed text at the bottom of the front. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 23 July 1936, sent to Mr. P. Valet in Choisy-Le-Roi, with a violet postage stamp and Chalon-sur-Saône postmark.
