Description

View of the old episcopal palace in Auxerre from the 13th century, with a Romanesque gallery decorated with arches admired by curious visitors. The building, whose continuation is modern, has little archaeological interest. Reverse: address to Madame Maravat in Marseille, dated June 1914, with a 5-centime postmark and stamp from Auxerre.
