View of the Prefecture in Limoges, an imposing neo-classical building with colonnades and an ornate tower, under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to a family, mentioning a trip to France and affectionate greetings. The reverse also bears the inscription 'POSTCARD' and a postmark.
