Description

Portrait of a young boy in a dark suit with tie and decoration, accompanied by printed text describing his birth in Paris in 1856, his departure for the Wootweich School in 1872, his role in the expedition against the Zulu Cafres in 1879, and his death in an ambush on June 23, 1879. The back is blank, bearing only the inscription 'POSTCARD'.
