View of the West Cliff promenade in Ramsgate, with promenaders and deckchairs along the sea. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated April 17, 1912, sent from Ramsgate to Madame Miller in Choisseau-lès-Cotton, France, with a red 1 penny stamp and a Ramsgate postmark.
