View of a religious monument in the shape of a cross atop a rocky spur, with several people in period costume observing the site. On the reverse, handwritten French text reports family news and mentions the region of Brittany, with a readable date: "Monday 19". The postmark is partially visible, and the cancellation is present but illegible.
