Description

View of the Saint-Ayoul Church in Provins, presented as the oldest religious monument in the city, built in 1018. The printed text mentions the arrival of Abelard to preach theology in 1420, as well as the altarpiece painting depicting Jesus among the doctors, painted in 1654, and the superb carved woodwork by Pierre Brasset in 1660. The back is blank, with no correspondence or visible postmark.
