View of the ruined tower of Provins, surrounded by vegetation, with an inscription at the bottom indicating the location and series number 23. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated October 3, 1912, addressed to Magnon de Barbier in Châteauvillain, with a 3 franc stamp and a postmark.
