Description

Postcard showing the César Tower in Provins, a 13th-century keep where the English had established themselves during the siege of 1432 to defend themselves. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated July 19, 1916, addressed to Madame Marie Ressé in Nice, with cursive handwriting and traces of moisture.
