Description

View of the medieval fortifications of Provins, west side, dating from the 13th century, with an imposing stone wall and ruins surrounded by vegetation. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to M. Condroy in Versailles, with a 20-centime French stamp and a Provins postmark dated May 29, 1907.
