View of the Porte Saint-Jean in Provins, with its arched passage and stone ramparts, surrounded by vegetation. Handwritten text at the top: 'It always rains from a certain moment, it will soon' and at the bottom: 'It is by this Route that you arrived at me' signed 'Demyf'. Reverse: handwritten address to Monsieur Emory, 60 rue de Bischy, Landes, Finistère, with a Finistère circular postmark dated 12-5-1910.
