Description

Black and white panoramic view of an alpine village nestled in a valley surrounded by steep mountains and conifers. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates '8460.79 Pay Villages Générale'. The reverse bears a 30-centime French postage stamp, a circular cancellation from Vallouise (Hautes-Alpes) dated 9 June 1918, and a handwritten address to Mademoiselle Andrée Courbet in Ténistère.
