Description

View of the beach at Quend-Plage (Somme) with swimmers, tents and a large gymnastics apparatus on the sand. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 1st, 1925 addressed to Monsieur Fonty in Paris, mentioning a visit to Port-Mahon and a good swim. 40c postage stamp and postmark from Quend (Somme) dated September 25th, 1925.
