Description

Devastated view of the Church of Carnoy in Somme, severely damaged during the 1914 War, with partially collapsed roof and devastated landscape. Printed text at the bottom: '62. War 1914. — RUINS AT THE CHURCH OF CARNOY (Somme)'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence in French addressed to 'Donts Blanchés', with a note about cinema. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
