Description

Interior view of the church in Remainviller, severely damaged by the battles of World War I in 1914, with cracked walls, broken stained glass windows, and a floor littered with debris. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated January 24, 1915, sent from Arces (Ardennes) to recipients in Yonne, with a stamp and a postmark from Arces.
