Description

Black and white view of the ruins of the Béthény docks in Reims, after the bombings of World War I, with twisted metal structures and destroyed corrugated iron roofs. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated February 22, 1919, addressed to 'Mes Chers Amis et Amie', mentioning the joy of receiving a letter and the anticipation of a reply, with a cancellation mark 'Reims 22.2.19' in the top left corner.
